Lisa M. (Owen) Shingara 50, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at home.
She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on August 9, 1962 the daughter of Maureen J. (Smith) Owen and the late William W. Owen II.
Lisa was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School. She then attended H.A.C.C. and went on to become an Oral Surgery Assistant.
She is survived by her husband, George Shingara, Mother Maureen Herwig, her step-father Edward Herwig, 4 sisters; Kimberly (Owen) Gordon, Annie (Herwig) Ward, Sara Herwig and Diane Owen, 6 nieces and 2 nephews. Lisa loved cats and her precious Teenie.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg, PA 17112.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her honor to the Humane Society or PAWS for care of their precious kittens.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home Harrisburg.
