Hallman, Harry Duane, of Clio, age 81 died Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at O’Guinn Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 with full military honors.
Harry was born on June 20, 1942, the son of Victor and Alverna Hallman. He graduated from Clio High School in 1961. He went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. He married Carol Taylor on March 6, 1965, in Cleveland Ohio. He retired from Buick City in 1997. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends in both Michigan and Florida. Harry enjoyed the occasional card game and corn hole. He adored his grandchildren.
Surviving are Wife, Carol; Children, Christine & John Huff, David & Patricia Hallman; Grandchildren, Aaron & Shelby, Chad, Haley & Dan, Corin and Chelsea; Brothers, Victor & Cecilia, Robert& Kelly, and Michael & Marilyn. Sister- in- laws Elma Johnson & Donna Smith; several nieces and nephews. Good friends; Bob & Carol Lawrence, Connie Schofield and the Kingsbury Family. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Allison Huff; parents Victor and Alverna Hallman; sister Patricia Kapanowski and good friend Bob Schofield.
