Dorothy Beth Binford, 82, passed away April 23, 2011. Survived by her children, John (Linda) Binford of Newport Beach, Calif., Jana (Richard) Roney of Seattle, Wash., and Mark Binford of Pueblo; sister Barbara (Harvey) Mizel of Pueblo; nieces, Becky Mizel and Linda Stiles both of Pueblo and Jennifer Mizel of San Francisco, Calif. Preceded in death by her husband, Barrie Binford. Born to Homer and Helen Massey on July 31, 1928, in Pueblo, Colo. Dorothy worked at being a great wife and mother. She enjoyed the outdoors, trips to the mountains and Lake Superior. She loved gardening, especially her roses, and was an avid bird watcher and fantastic cook. Our mother made life special. Lifelong member of PEO and she was a Republican Party secretary. Services will be held in Michigan at a later date. Online condolences, MontgomerySteward.com
