Ida L. Lee, 100, of Woodhull, IL. Died Wednesday April 6, 2011 in her home. Services are 2:30 PM Friday at Peterson Wallin Knox in Woodhull. Burial is in the Clover Chapel Cemetery rural Woodhull. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the funeral home where memorials may be left to the United Church of Woodhull, Tri-County Ambulance or AlWood Meals on Wheels. She was born October 21, 1910 in Woodhull to Fremont and Mary James Peck. She graduated from Woodhull High School in 1928 and attended Western Teachers College in Macomb. She married R. Evan Lee January 8, 1938 in Woodhull. He died November 10, 1985.
Ida taught school for 11 years in the country and in Woodhull retiring in 1940. She was a member of the United Church of Woodhull where she was a member of the Women’s Society and held various positions throughout the years. She also served as an Election Judge for 21 years.
Ida enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Krueger of Woodhull, a son Robert (Ann) Lee of Silvis, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, 1 sister and 1 brother preceded her in death
