Sherman, Melody – of Clio, age 68, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 12PM until 2PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.
A graduate of Flint Central High School, Melody embraced life with enthusiasm. She shared many years with her beloved husband, Terry Sherman. Melody was a dedicated line worker at General Motors, contributing for over 20 years to the automotive industry. Melody was known for her fierce independence and honesty; she was never one to sugarcoat her thoughts. Her sassy demeanor and genuine spirit endeared her to all who crossed her path. She found joy in the companionship of her cats and relished the simple pleasures of life spent outdoors, especially by the pool. Melody enjoyed a relaxed moment with her left-handed cigarette and a Newport, embodying a carefree attitude that celebrated life in all its forms. Her unmistakable presence and candid personality will be sorely missed.
