Kruger, Karen of Flushing, age 62, stepped into the presence of the Lord on Monday, October 19, 2015, at her home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015, at Trinity Baptist Church. Pastor Seth Ferguson will officiate. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Rossell Funeral Home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
Karen was born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 21, 1953, the daughter of Joseph and Doris (Moore) Chinnis. She married John Kruger on June 25, 1977 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Karen was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church for 30 years. She loved animals, especially sheep, which she has raised for many years. Karen was a master gardener and enjoyed quilting and wool projects from her flock of sheep. Spending time and spoiling her grandchildren was her greatest joy.
Karen is survived by her husband of 38 years, John; children, Matthew and wife Marie Kruger of Ringtown, PA, Jeanette Walton of Montrose; grandchildren, Coleman, Brooke, Kylie, Kody; sister, Kim and husband Lee Holland of Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents. |
