Riddle, Duane Paul of Flushing, age 61, died Thursday, November 16, 2023, at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the American Legion Hall, 4323 W. Carpenter Rd. Flint. Burial of cremated remains will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Duane was born in Flint, Michigan, the son of Donnie and Ruby (Kelly) Riddle. He married Robin Rouse on August 14, 1993, in Flushing. Duane proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He spent his career as a Tool and Die Setter. As an avid nature lover, he loved spending time at Flushing Park where he could photograph his favorite things and take pictures of himself. Duane was active in the Flushing Youth Tackle Football League where he was a former Field Commissioner. He was known for his excellent karaoke songs and stories that went on and on. He was a hard worker, energetic and had a great sense of humor. He loved everything about his little town of Flushing and was the best husband and father.
Duane is survived by his wife of 30 years, Robin; children, Sarah Riddle, Hunter (fiancée Kylah) Riddle; siblings, Donald (Karen) Riddle, DeAnna Riddle, Darren Riddle; mother-in-law, Linda Coleman; siblings-in-law, Renee (Scott) Buetler, Walt (Tara) Coleman, Billy (Jhoana) Rouse, Jennifer Riddle; beloved friend and cousin, Aiden Beamer; nieces Lily Coleman, Mikayla and Madelyn Riddle; and nephews, Zac (Staci) Fletcher, Ian (Bri) Fletcher. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Riddle.
