ELLER, JOHN HARLOW – Of Clio, age 46, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026.
Memorial service will be held at 1pm Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Rick Marcus officiating.
Visitation will be held at 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
John was born in Flint, Michigan on October 25, 1979, the son of Larry Eller and Karen Tippen-Ostrander. John attended Clio High School, Class of 1999 and graduated with honors. He then attended Nashville Diesel, in Nashville Tennessee, Class of 2001 and graduated top of class. Following there, he attended Mercedes Benz. John’s hobbies included working on cars, and scrapping for treasures. He was a member of the Clio Eagles and always helped anyone that needed help.
John is survived by his mother, Karen;
siblings, David Eller (Monica), Michael Eller (Wendy), Stefan Eller, Brent Ostrander, Allie Tippen and Alexander Tippen;
also is his niece, Ariana Eller;
nephews, David Eller, Matthew Eller, and Trapper Tippen;
aunts, Judy Biebel, Maxine Torok, Connie Pritchard; Tamara Bennett, Joy McGrew and Kimberly Tilch;
uncle, Terry Peter;
and many cousins;
significant other, Angie Williams, son Michael Williams (Stephanie), daughter Brook Williams (Blake) and grandchildren, Aurora, Gabe, Noah, and Kane.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Eller and step-father, Raleigh Ostrander.
John touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
