GRUBAUGH, Genevieve Marie – of Davison, age 82, died Friday, April 9, 2021 at Regency at Grand Blanc. Honoring Genevieve’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contribution can be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Genevieve was born November 20, 1938 to the late John and Marguerite (Roeber) Chesney. She grew up in Vassar, Michigan and graduated from Vassar High School with the class of 1955. Genevieve wrote a newsletter for the community she lived in called Taeckens Tidbits which was distributed every month. She enjoyed traveling, the beach, country music and loved to dance the 2 step. Genevieve loved spending time with her family and friends most of all.
Surviving are: Children, Chris (Kelly) Gardy, Terry (Jerry Pillen) Gardy; several grandchildren; Siblings, Darold (Nancy) Chesney, Randy Chesney; several nieces and nephews.
