SOMERS, JAMES D. - Of Flint, age 67, died Saturday, August 22, 2026, at his residence.

Jimmy was born on February 28, 1959, in Flint Michigan the son of Richard Sr. and Greta Somers.
He graduated from Southwestern High School and worked in retail sales.
Jim was a computer whiz and enjoyed racing RC cars with his buddy Dale Justice.
At family gatherings he was our resident DJ. Jimmy loved sister Sue’s and sister from Hogarth Ave. Beth cooking.
All of us are forever grateful that he was a loving caretaker to our mother.
He is survived by his siblings, Richard Somers Jr. and significant other Sandy Binder, David Somers, Susan and Greg Seitz;
