PACE, Steve L. – of Clio, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Darrel Manning officiating. The family will have private time from 11AM until 12PM at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio and will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Steve was born October 28, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Don Pace and Jeanette (Shelton) Baines-Pace. He graduated from Clio High School in 1975. Steve married Lynda Steadman, together they enjoyed 41 years together. Mr. Pace is a U.S. Navy Seabee Veteran. He retired from Flint Metal Fabricating as a millwright in 2000 with over 20 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #659. Steve enjoyed trips to the casino, spending time outdoors in the woods, fishing, singing karaoke, antiquing and collecting many things. Steve was also proud of his appearance in the movie, The Hunt for Bigfoot. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and cats.
Surviving are: Wife, Lynda Pace; Daughters: Christy (Glenn) Lilley, and Trina Pace (Companion Sam Vickey); Grandchildren: Aiyla Praay, Trehnton Beam, Page Beam, and Zoey Beaudry; Great grandson, Aiyden Beam; Sisters: Donna (Rocky) Polzin, and Patty (Joe) Banfield; Many other loving nieces, nephews, family members and dear friends; Furry companions: Bubbles and Mickey. Steve was also preceded in death by: Grandson, Jessie Beam; Sister, Diane Ramsey; Stepfather, Archie Baines; Furry companions: Scooter, Timmy, and Sabrina.
