MORLEY, William K – of Clio, age 73, died Monday, November 11, 2013 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM Saturday November 16th, 2013 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 520 Butler St. in Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Friends and Family hour for visiting will be held just prior to the service from 11:30 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM at the church on the day of the service. Final inurnment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery with a full honorary military salute performed by Neeley-LaBarr Post 158 Clio, Michigan at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church Building Fund.
William was born in Flint, MI on September 24, 1940 to the late Harry and Emily (Morgan) Morley. He served 8 years in the United States Air Force. Bill retired from Buick and was a committee man for many years. He was a member of the UAW Local #599 and Messiah Lutheran Church. Bill loved his church and served as their Praise and Worship Song Leader for over 25 years. He was fond of old western movies and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: children, Todd (Alane) Morley, Dana Morley; 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Alexxa & Austin Morley; 1 great granddaughter, Samaria. He was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Zachary Morley and Alec Morley. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
