Donald James Bettinger, 97 of Kissimmee, FL passed away on November 1, 2017. He was born on December 31, 1919 to Charles and Rose (Gerow) Bettinger in Euclid, New York.
He was a member of the of Bible Baptist Church in Kissimmee, where he served as an usher for 30 years.
He was a tool and die maker working for General Motors.
Donald is survived by his loving family, son, Terrance James (Linda) Bettinger of Clio, MI, daughter, Susan Kay Bettinger of Kissimmee, FL. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A memorial service for Mr. Bettinger is being held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Jerry Wallace officiating.
Visitation 12 noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Interment in Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
