NEVELS, Linda Jo (Brenner) – of Burton, MI, age 67, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, in Linda’s memory.
Linda was born in Flint, MI on December 3, 1953, daughter of the late Duane and Joyce (Stacy) Brenner. She was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1972. Linda furthered her education by earing an associates degree in nursing from Mott Community College. She was employed with Fisher Body and Riverbend Nursing Home.
Linda enjoyed camping, canoeing, spending time in the outdoors and keeping up on the latest medical discoveries. You could always find Lay’s potato chips, Cheez-Its and chocolate in her house. Linda’s signature dishes were “Chicken Moosh”, broccoli-cheese-rice and goulash! She adored her grandchildren and they were her reason for living.
Linda is survived by 2 children, Tammy (Tony Whitehead) Amy and Heather (Eduardo) Guerra; 9 grandchildren, Stanton Amy, Brandi Lovell, Brianna Guerra, Brayden Guerra, Bryson Guerra, Brooklyn Guerra, Dominick Guerra, Ethan Guerra and Sydney Guerra; sister, Luane Fickes; 2 nephews, Wayne Fickes and Jimmy (Elizabeth) Fickes; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Joyce Brenner and infant brother.
