BARBER, Constance Mae "Connie" - Of Flushing, age 52, died at home, Saturday, March 29, 2014 after losing her battle with breast cancer.
A memorial service will be held 11am Thursday, April 3, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Father Roy Horning officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 1-3pm and 5-8pm Wednesday and 10am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to a Trust Fund for Alissa Ball.
Connie was born in Flint on December 1, 1961, the daughter of Jack L. and Virginia Mae (Menne) Barber. Connie had her own cleaning service and enjoyed being a school crossing guard.
Surviving are daughter, Alissa Ball;
brothers and sisters, Gary (Geri) Barber, Greg (Sharon) Barber, Rhonda Thompson, Bradley (Kim) Barber, Jeffrey Barber, Jack (Jill) Barber and Tamara Scofield;
brother-in-law, Thomas Buhler;
also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to aunt and uncle, Lois and Al Inman and family. Also a special thanks to all of her special friends. The family wishes to thank Genesys Hospice for the care and support that was given to Connie.
She was preceded in death by sister, Marcia A. Buhler and her parents.
