Ronna Lynn Gettel Willhelm, age 66, of Swartz Creek, passed away on February 14, 2026. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 20, 2026, at Swartz Creek Community Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Pastor JD Landis officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Friday at the church. Burial will be held at 2 PM Friday at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in Ronna’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association. Ronna was born on February 24, 1959, in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of Stanley and Janet (Pobanz) Gettel. She graduated from Sebewaing High School and continued her education at Central Michigan University. Ronna later retired from Flint Township, where she faithfully served the community as an Assessor. She was a dedicated member of Swartz Creek Community Church and gave generously of her time as a volunteer with the Swartz Creek Kiwanis Club, where she also served as secretary. Ronna will be remembered for her kindness, her commitment to service, and the care she showed to everyone around her. Surviving are her husband, Jerry A. Willhelm; her son, Christopher (Kayla) Farver; grandchildren, Hadley and August; step?daughter, Pamela (Tim) Bassier; step-grandchildren, Ryan Hugan, Payton Suszek, Brittney (Nic) Knoch, Nathan Bassier and great-grandchildren, Skylar, Faye and Maeve; parents, Stanley and Janet Gettel; siblings, Joy Schultz, Neal Gettel, and Tom (Amy) Gettel; and special friend, Chris Krajniak. She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Michelle Spishak in January 2021. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473.
