CHAPMAN, Paul – of Holiday, Florida, formally of Clio, age 93 passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Madison Pointe Rehab Center in New Port Richey, Florida after a battle with Pneumonia. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 13, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Dianna Vanderkarr officiating. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask you to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Disabled American Veterans.
Paul was born February 17, 1926 in Flint, Michigan to the late John and Hattie (Cummings) Chapman. Paul served his country in the US Marine Corps. in WW ll and was a Marine Combat Veteran. He retired from Buick Motors, a Division of General Motors in 1976 after 30 years of service. After retirement Paul moved to Florida to enjoy his retirement years. He was a lifetime member of the Flushing VFW Post # 283. Paul enjoyed collecting old cars, repairing old farm equipment, farming, and dancing.
Surviving are: Children, Ron (Diane) Chapman, David (Gaye) Turton, Larry (Kim) Crawford, Jerry (Joyce) Crawford, James Crawford, Deborah Meads, Cynthia (James) Chapman; numerous Grand Children, Great Grand Children, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by Parents; Wives, Hazel and Kathleen; Grand Daughter, Robin; 3 Sisters and 2 Sons.
