CLARK, Helen R. – of Clio, age 89, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at her residence. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Neonatal Unit at Hurley Medical Center or just doing a good deed for someone that you don’t know.
Helen was born on December 11, 1927 in Flint, Michigan to the late Russell and Amelia (Brotzman) Beach. She attended Central High School in Flint. Helen married Alexander Clark on June 15, 1946 in Flint. Alexander preceded her in death on May 13, 1999. She worked at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint for many years. Helen was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking, and gardening. She also enjoyed making hats for newborn babies in the neonatal unit at Hurley hospital. Helen was also known for making the best apple pie you’ve ever tasted.
Surviving are: Children: Susanne Wright, Barbara (Gary) Palinsky, Janet (Wayne) Evans, and Alexander (Terri) Clark Jr.; 12 grandchildren; Many great grandchildren and Sister, Gladys Reeves. Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
