SCHOFIELD, Lois – Of Flushing, age 92, died Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor David Hensler officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the funeral home.
Lois was born in Holstein, Nebraska on August 28, 1928, the daughter of the late Ernst and Emma Aufdenkamp.
On October 17, 1953 she married George Schofield and he preceded her in death on December 5, 1998.
Mrs. Schofield was a teacher at St. Paul Lutheran School and later at Civic Park Elementary School for the majority of her career.
Surviving are two children, George “Skip” (Kathy) and Kathleen Schofield.
Two granddaughters, Katherine and Aimee.
She was preceded in death by brother, Dale Aufdenkamp and sisters, Renata Schukei and Marian Koinzan.
