PRINCE, Reginald “Ray” – of Clio, age 85, died peacefully at home on Thursday, September 7, 2023, with family by his side. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. No formal services will be held.
Ray was born December 26, 1937, in Clarkton, Missouri, to the late Marshall and Stella (Shelton) Prince. He graduated from Central High School. Ray married Eleanor Hall on March 22, 1958, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Flint. Ray was the secretary treasurer for the Teamsters Local #332 for 19 years before retiring. He also owned and operated RP’s Bar in Flint for 38 years. Ray was an avid golfer and scored two career holes-in-one.
Surviving are: Wife, Eleanor Prince; Sons: Jeff (Kay) Prince, and Joel (Jenny) Prince; Grandchildren: Aaron (Robin) Larkin, Tyler Prince (Fiancée Veronice), Kelsey (Shawn) Yech, Ben Prince, Mackenzie (Nick) DuBois, Jacob Prince, Sydney Prince, and Delanie Prince; Great grandchildren: Kiersten Larkin, Shawna Yech, Tyson Yech, Audrey DuBois, and Wyatt DuBois; Sisters: Wilma (Curt) Taylor, Shirley (Dan) Larkin, Beverly (Bill) Minzey, and Debbie (Larry) Goff.
