Katie passed away at her home loved and Surrounded by family and her precious animals.
Katie had a very large Family with her Husband of 47 years Jack Felker Sr, They shared 7 kids- Jack (Wilma) Felker Jr, Christine (Al) Hall, Joanne Felker, Lisa (Sam) Schiers, Tom (Gina) Felker, Susan Bennett, Jeannie (Dennis) Dohr.
Katie had 14 Grandkids- Lee Felker, Theresa (Derek) Eklund, Derek (Mindy) Veale, Shaunnah Felker, Mandy Schiers, Kate Schiers, Samantha Schiers, Megan Felker, Cale(Monica) Felker, Rachelle (Oday) Bennett, Danny Bennett, Stephanie Bennett, Resse (Jeff) Phillips, and Branden (Kayla) Eddy.
She had 15 Great Grandchildren with another on the way- Kelsey Wright, Konnor Willard, Klaire Arnett, Kynlee Arnett, Kayli Felker, Tyson Spencer, Tatum Spencer, Tegan Spencer, Emalee Schiers-Martinez, Leland Felker, Willow Scott, Avi Luna, Emerald Luna, Violet Luna, Derek Holder and Baby "Eddy" on the way.
She has 3 Great Great Grandchildren- Carmello Scott, Nolan Scott, and Declan McClure.
Katie was predeceased by- Her Husband Jack Felker Sr, Her Parents and Sisters, Her Son's Jack (Wilma) Felker Jr, Tom Felker, and Grandchildren Lee Felker and Samantha Schiers.
Some memories of Katie Shared by her Children
Mom loved Sunday back road country drives and getting ice cream, she loved gardening, her flowers, plants, canning, baking and cooking.
She loved attending horse shows with Daughter Jeannie, and camping with her and her little dog Missy, Bird watching, spending time in nature searching for and digging up leaks.
Her mornings were spent drinking coffee while watching Kelly and Mark and she loved American Idol season, She had a deep love for music, dancing, and truly enjoyed taking dancing lessons with her husband.
Mom had a thrill side to her and truly enjoyed roller-coasters, and had such a witty personality while also being very organized with everything having it’s place.
She adored her 3 little dogs, Peaches, Peanut and Autumn and all her rescue cats. They were her 4 legged children and her world just as her 2 legged children and Grandchildren were her world. She was always putting their needs above her own.
Mom was so fashionable and she had a deep passion for Jehovah God that she shared with Jack (Wilma) Felker Jr, Joanne Felker and Susan Bennett and enjoyed her meetings with the Kingdom Hall family.
In her later years, Katie and daughter Susan had a relationship like the Golden Girls and Katie and Daughter Lisa were able to reconnect after Lisa's move back from Nevada to Michigan to be with her.
She loved visiting with her family and sharing stories of everyone right up until the end, she was the strongest woman we've ever known and the most loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother.
You are warmly invited to a Graveside Service in honor of Katie, taking place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at West Haven Cemetery. Following the service, we invite you to a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Owosso.
Afterward, a gathering will be held at the home of Jeannie and Dennis Dohrs in Bancroft, MI, to share cherished memories and stories of Katie. As she loved homemade food, please bring a dish to share along with your favorite drinks. Your presence and memories will help celebrate her spirit and the joy she brought to all our lives.

| A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at West Haven Cemetery. The family invites you to gather after for a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Hall, Owosso, immediately following the Service a Celebration of Life gathering for family and friends will be held at Jeannie & Dennis Dohrs in Bancroft MI. |
