MCINTYRE, Harold W. – of Clio, age 89, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, May 25, 2018 at West Vienna United Methodist Church – 5485 W. Wilson Rd. in Clio. Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 1PM until 8PM and at the church on Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to West Vienna United Methodist Church.
Harold was born January 13, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harold and Beatrice (Boyden) McIntyre. He graduated from Northern High School in 1947. Harold married Maxine Adams on September 20, 1952. She preceded him in death September 20, 1996. Harold later married Ledora Ellis December 12, 1998. Mr. McIntyre served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 9 years. He retired from Buick in 1988 with over 40 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #599. Harold was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America and West Vienna United Methodist Church. He enjoyed camping, yard work, traveling, and volunteering at Crossroads Village.
Surviving are: Wife, Ledora McIntyre; Son, David (Ginger) McIntyre; Daughter, Ruth (Steve) Solinski; Grandchildren: Lauren, Nathaniel, Anna, Benjamin, Nehemiah, Ellie, and Lydia; Great granddaughter, Innogen; Children and grandchildren by marriage with Ledora; Sister, Wanda Adams.
