He was a proud graduate of Grand Blanc High School and furthered his education at Mott Community College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Electrician Technology.
Bob lived life to the fullest, embracing his passions with enthusiasm. A dedicated reader, he found joy in curling up with a captivating novel and losing himself in the stories. A true outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed a diverse array of activities, from playing tennis and volleyball to cross-country skiing and woodworking. His love for nature was rivaled only by his enthusiasm for cheering on his beloved Detroit Lions. He was a certified Master Gardener by Michigan State, Bob took great pride in cultivating his garden and sharing its beauty with those he loved.
Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Bob’s most cherished role was being a grandparent to his granddaughter, Sophie, with whom he shared countless delightful moments.
He married his soulmate, Linda Hawk, on January 10, 1963, and together they created a loving partnership that spanned over 62 wonderful years filled with shared memories.
Bob dedicated over 30 years of work to General Motors.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Linda Myrant; daughter Kellie (Todd) Steinberg; granddaughter Sophie Loresch; along with many other loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
