Deaver-Pomroy, Eleanor J. – of Birch Run, formerly Oakland County and Texas, age 82, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 6PM Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Bob Leming officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home in Clio on Tuesday from 3 PM until the time of service at 6PM.
Eleanor was born in Pontiac on June 30, 1931, the daughter of the late George and Verna (Seaver) Van Kuren. She married Gerald Pomroy in 2005. Eleanor enjoyed camping, cooking, sewing, WWF wrestling and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: husband, Jerry; children, Beverley Jessmon, William J. "Rusty" Deaver, Lucinda (Hank) Tyrrell, Michael Deaver; 7 step-children; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; half brother, David Van Kuren; many nieces and nephews.
