Roudebush, Sharon Marie - Age 75, of Flint, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Friday November 8, 2019. Services will be held 3 PM Monday, November 11 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of the service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Sharon was born March 29, 1944 in Flint the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Fitch) Vargo. She married her high school sweetheart Richard Roudebush on August 4, 1962; and they celebrated nearly every anniversary in Tawas Michigan. Sharon worked at the UAW Child Development Center as a cook until it closed. She volunteered at the Eastside Mission for many years helping others. She loved Elvis, enjoyed ceramics, playing Euchre, being with the YaYa's, and card club. Above all she enjoyed being with family and friends especially childhood friend Bonnie Brady and longtime friends Jeanett and Pat. Sharon will be sadly missed by her sister Linda (Jeff) Robarts of Bad Axe; brother Norm (Beth) Vargo of Davison; nieces and nephews, Duane, Darrell Marshall of Texas, Dan (Penni) Marshall of North Carolina, Kris (Jeremy) Watson of Arizona, Norm (Kat) Vargo of Texas, Ken (Anna) Brill of Virginia, Kim (Doug) Clunis of Elkton; many great nieces and nephews; and many many friends to numerous to mention them all; also her beloved companion Precious. Sharon was preceded in death by two sons at birth Russell in 1963 and Thomas in 1964; her husband Richard ; her parents; three brothers, Chuckie Marshall, Duane Marshall, and Joe Vargo; also two dear friends Sharon Morrish and Tricia Fenner. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Lyndy and the hospice team and the many friends who prayed and brought her comfort during her illness. She truly knew how loved and appreciated she was. |
