Sandra Kay Yuille, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend, passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on February 2, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, Sandra was the cherished daughter of the late Donald and Thelma Yuille. After a career as a tool and die maker at General Motors, where she dedicated 30years of her life, Sandra retired with a legacy of hard work and determination.
A lover of flowers and gardening, Sandra found joy in nurturing life around her. Her passion for nature mirrored her affection for her family, as she was known for spoiling her grandchildren and granddogs alike. Family was the cornerstone of her life, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to supporting and celebrating each member.
In addition, Sandra was an avid fan of University of Michigan sports, a testament to her spirited enthusiasm and loyalty.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle (Chad) Beasinger and Lisa (Jason) Tomlinson, along with her stepchildren, Nate (Austin) DeFrain and Elisha (Steven) Wulff. Her grandchildren — Brendan (Liza) Beasinger, Zander Beasinger, Brady (Kendall) Tomlinson, Griffen, (Madison,) Beasinger, Kaylee Tomlinson, Reid Beasinger, Hannah DeFrain Ainsley Wulff and Raegan DeFrain — will forever cherish the warm memories created with her. Sandra also leaves behind her loving siblings: Bruce (Jan) Yuille, Ron (Debby) Yuille, Kathy (Joe) Kobus, and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her deeply.
Preceded in death by her parents,her son Steven Bruckman and his wife Aubrey.
Sandra's warmth, love, and laughter will remain etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will continue to inspire those who loved her.
A funeral visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home, located at 1480 Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan, 48439. The visitation is scheduled for Friday February 27, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, and again from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will also take place at Brown Funeral Home, on Saturday February 28, 2026, starting at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. |
