John Sterba
Age 77 of Flint passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
John was born April 30, 1938 in Britt, Iowa the son of John Paul and Anna (Bohac) Sterba.
He graduated from Ovid High School and attended GMI for two years.
He married Janet Prikasky.
John worked at Delphi and General Motors retiring after 48 years.
John enjoyed carpentry, gardening and keeping up with new technology. He was also knows as the go-to guy for anyone that needed any assistance in home repairs.
John is survived by his wife Janet; his children Rod (Cyd) Serba of Grand Blanc, Shawna (Alan Bott) Lorenz of St. Charles and Chad Sterba of Flint; grandchildren Kayla Lorenz of Nashville, Tennesee, Jared and Tanner Sterba of Grand Blanc; brother Robert Sterba of Ovid and Richard Sterba of Wyoming; several nieces and nephews and good friends Guy Briggs and Cecil Bailey.
