Koviack, Raymond M. – of Clio, age 92, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Gross Assisted Living in Clio. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday evening from 4-8 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church or the Thetford Senior Center.
Mr. Koviack was born February 27, 1926, in Flint, Michigan to the late Michael and Lottie (Lowry) Koviack. He married Doris Attenberger on August 22, 1944. She preceded him in death on March 1, 2007. Raymond was employed as a pipefitter for Consumers Energy for 32 years, retiring in 1986. He had resided in the Mt. Morris and Clio areas most of his life. Raymond was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Flint and was a current member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Daughter, Sandra Koviack of Birch Run; Son, Michael (Dianna) Koviak of Clio; Granddaughters: Michelle Wykes of Burt and Beth Palasty of Birch Run; 3 great-grandchildren: Steven, Nicole, and Zachary. |
