Clarence Allen Reynolds, 56, a lifetime resident of Lapeer, died tragically, Saturday, August 2, 2014. He was born March 12, 1958 in Lapeer to parents Clarence and Viola (Parrott) Reynolds. He married Cynthia Truman many years ago, in Lapeer.
A huge part of Clarence’s life, was his owning American RV Inc. in Burton, for the last 30 years. Many good times & good friends associated with that business. He was known to be a very caring, charitable man, who took care of a lot of family members over the years. Mr. Reynolds was a fun, social guy; with an infectious laugh. He loved dogs, hunting & fishing as well as race cars (he even sponsored one along the way). Clarence will be missed.
He is survived by his wife: Cindy Truman-Reynolds, daughter: Jordan Reynolds, special family: Jerimy Reynolds and David Truman, step-dad: Larry Calkins, mother-in-law: Darlene Truman, siblings: Manley (Leila) Reynolds of Lapeer, Glenn Reynolds of Kalkaska, Vicki (Paul) Anderson of Imlay City, Herb Reynolds of North Branch, Terry (Royce) Thomas of Kalkaska as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his siblings: Brad and Gary Reynolds, Marie McGlashen and his parents.
Visitation will be 4-8 Monday, 1-4/6-8 Tuesday at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. The funeral will be 11:00am Wednesday August 6, 2014 at Muirs with Pastor Grant Lobb officiating. Burial will be in Deerfield Township Cemetery, Fostoria.
