Kehler, Joanne M. - Age 89, Fenton, passed away July 30, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday August 4, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 North Adelaid Street, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the Mass at the church on Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic School.
Joanne was born November 27, 1933 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Walter and Martha (Koryciak) Jakowczyk. Joanne graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Flint. She was a devoted member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, devoting her life to her family. She enjoyed baking and gardening.
She is survived by three children, Karen (Randy) Laue, Greg (Sharmon) Kehler, and Debbie (Franklin) Fetzer; grandchildren, Jessica, Alyson, Jillian, Jonathan, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Hailey, Landon, Brady, Charlotte, Benjamin, Lucas, and Claire; brother, Leonard (Butch) Jakowczyk; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Lewis Jakowczyk, Wally Jakowczyk, Dorothy Smorch, Marcella Wohleben, Patricia Jakowczyk, and Mary Ann Wells. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
