Passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 in Sandwich, Massachusetts, after a brief illness; age 76 years. Bob was born on January 21, 1937 in Chicago, IL. He served in the Army as a military police officer and later married Mary Lou Dear on October, 15, 1960. She survives him. Bob was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. He retired from General Motors and was currently employed at the Fortress Golf Course in Frankenmuth where he loved the game of golf.
Surviving besides his wife Mary Lou are 3 sons and 1 daughter: Kevin (Deborah) Brown of Flushing, Paul Brown of Frankenmuth, Scott Brown of Falmouth, MA and Kelly (Robert) Kozub of Sandwich, MA; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers: Jerry (Patsy) Brown, and Mike (Linda) Brown; and a sister, Mary Brown. Bob was predeceased by a brother, John Brown.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola St., Frankenmuth, MI. Fr. Robert Byrne will officiate with burial in Blessed Trinity Cemetery. Bob’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday, October 25 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. There will be a Vigil Service on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
