PASCHKET, Darlene Joy (Klink) (Forgo) – of Flint, MI, age 74, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held 3 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Tom Forgo officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 1-3 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home.
Darlene was born in Flint, MI on September 10, 1943, daughter of the late Louis and Norwene (Albrant) Klink. She married Raymond Paschket on February 2, 1974. Darlene had many accomplishments including: airplane pilot, Master Gardener, Mid-Michigan doll maker, cosmetologist and Band Mom. She was also active in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Her many other accomplishments and interests are too numerous to mention. Darlene was also not a fan of modern technology, “I hate this phone!” was often heard.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ray; 7 children, Michele Forgo (Jerry) Carrigan, Maria Forgo Fritcher, Brian Paschket, Rebecca Paschket (Clell) Hanson, Karen Pritchard, Ray Paschket and John Paschket; 2 special grandchildren, Dakota and Odin Paschket; 16 other grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nora Klink Richards and Cheryl Klink (Gary) Whitehead; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lyle and Louis Klink; son-in-law, Barney Fritcher and her granddaughter, Chrystal Tackebury.
