WORSLEY (HALL), Ellen Lorraine “Prunie” – Of Davison, age 89, died
Monday, December 10, 2018 at Abbey Park Assisted Living.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Ellen was born in Flint, Michigan on March 30, 1929, the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Martin) Hall and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life.
On May 28, 1949 she married Leonard W. Worsley.
She was an avid boater, alongside her husband and family. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, water sports, traveling and spending her winters in the Southwest.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Ellen was employed for many years at the City of Flint.
Surviving are her children, Donna Worsley,
Sally (Jim) Pomeroy,
Sandy (Jerome) Gill;
daughter-in-law, Susan Worsley;
son-in-law, Robert Girard;
10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard W. Worsley;
parents, Charles and Mabel Hall; daughter, Deborah J. Worsley Girard;
son, Mark A. Worsley; granddaughter, Marcie McInnis Mitchem and brother, James C. Hall.
