WALTER, Marilyn F. – of Mt. Morris, age 63, died Friday, November 7, 2014 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Victory Tabernacle, 1497 Pine St., near Vienna and Dixie Hwy in Clio. Rev. Frank Yount officiating. Contributions in her memory may be made to Victory Tabernacle.
Marilyn was born April 18, 1951 in Goodrich to Samuel and Faye (Pendleton) Carson. She was a 1969 graduate of Clio High School. She married Howard Walter on August 15, 1970. Marilyn was a member of Victory Tabernacle. She enjoyed playing cards, toll painting, knitting and sewing.
Surviving are: husband, Howard; son, Joe (Tricia) Walter of GA; daughter, Melissa (Brian) Tyler of Mt. Morris; 6 grandchildren, Brittany, Blake, Christopher, Morgan, Joey and Carter; great granddaughter, Makiyah; mother, Faye Sargent; sisters, Jackie, Terry and Donna (Bob); brother, Billy Sargent; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by: father, Samuel Carson; step-father, Bill Sargent; brother, Sam Carson; and mother and father-in-law, Howard and Ethel Walter.
