SMITH, Patricia. – of Clio, age 66, died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice in Flint. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial will be in West Vienna Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12PM until 8PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Patricia was born September 30, 1947 in Flint, Michigan to the late Roy and Eunice (Gage) Jones. She graduated from Clio High School in 1965. Patricia married Loren Smith on October 23, 1982 in Flushing, Michigan. She did Clerical work for several businesses. Patricia enjoyed scrapbooking, bowling, crafts, traveling, camping, turkey hunting and working in her yard. She was a very kind and loving person. The most important thing to her was spending time with her loving family. Patricia was a true shining light and will be missed dearly.
Surviving are: husband, Loren Smith of Clio; son, David (Tanya) Schmieder of Clio; daughter, Dena (Chris) Boyle of Flint; 6 grandchildren, Amber, Travis, Olivia, Matthew, Morgan, Vanessa; brother, Lawrence Jones of Whittemore; 3 nieces, Tisha Jones, Heidi Albrecht, Kim Jones; several other loving family members.
