Guay-Falk, Linda of Flushing, formerly of Longueuil, Quebec, age 56, died Friday, August 27, 2021, at DMC Harper Hospital in Detroit with her loving husband by her side. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Rossell Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, CHU Sainte-Justine Mother and Child University Hospital Center-Quebec, Beyond the Basics Dog Care-Burton, or any local dog rescue or dog charity of your choice.
Linda was born in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, on August 8, 1965, the daughter of Pierre and Francine Launa (Langlois) Guay. She married John Falk on January 29, 2020, in Flushing, Michigan. Linda worked as a Nurse before before she became a Service Dog Trainer, which was a perfect fit for Linda because dogs were her life. She had a big heart and enjoyed helping others. Linda had been the primary caregiver for her grandmother “Grammy” who had raised Linda after her parents passed away.
Linda is survived by her husband, John and step-son, Charlie and wife Catie Falk. She was preceded in death by her parents and Grammy.
