Glenda passed away, surrounded by her daughters, on Monday, October 10, 2023. Visitation will take place at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W Pierson Road, Flushing, MI, on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 3:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral will take place at Faith Missionary Church, officiated by Pastor Brent Kriesch, 1327 N Elms Road, Flint Township, MI, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 12:00pm, with visitation 11:00am-12:00pm. A Private Burial will take place at a later date.
Glenda was born April 23, 1939 in Piggott, Arkansas, the daughter of Clyde and Beatrice (Thaxton) Bolton. She married John Watts on May 15, 1993 in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death October 28, 2011. Glenda retired from McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint. She was a member for many years at Flint First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and she adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children: Gina Bowman, Renee Jackson, Becky Jackson, Sheryl (Paul) Staley, John (Laurie) Watts, Jr., and Chris (Jennifer) Watts; Sisters: Norma Thompson of Arkansas, Jean (Melford) Cummings of Arkansas, and Sandy Kilbreth of Missouri; Grandchildren: Brooke (Dan) Scarfone, Hadley (Kevin) Theriac, Madison (David) Watts, Jackson Watts and Samantha (Jason) Gleeson; and Great Grandchildren: Louis, Henry and Daniel Jr Scarfone; Mackenzie, Nevaeh, Jason Jr, Reagan, Londyn, and Camdyn Gleeson; and many other extended family members and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Herbert, Leroy and Joe Bolton.
