Laurence C. Rosencrantz age 75 of Owosso, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026 at Pleasant View in Owosso. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel from 12-3 PM.
Laurence Clyde Rosencrantz was born on August 3, 1951 in Twin Lake, MI a son of Lawrence and Shirley (Speokin) Rosencrantz. On January 30, 1996 he married Linda Underhill. Laurence was a member of the Durand Eagles and a Charter Member of the Durand Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing on Lake Erie, going up north, being outdoors on his tractor and spending time with his family. Prior to his retirement, he worked for General Motors Truck and Bus for 32 years and owned Happy Hour Bar in Bannister for 10 years.
Laurence is survived by his wife, Linda Rosencrantz; children, Lisa (Will) Bywater, Laura (Scott Winslick) Smith, Lynett (Brad) Walters, Jesse (Angie) Caldwell and Khalen Rich; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Roy (Jan) Rosencrantz and nephew, Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Shirley Rosencrantz; and brother Craig Rosencrantz.
