SCHREIBER, SHARON K – Of Flint, age 96, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Regency at Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 North Elms Road, Flint.
Pastor Brent Kriesch officiating.
Visitation will be held at 11am Wednesday until the time of the service at the church. There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.
Private burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Faith Missionary Church.
Sharon was born in Catron, Missouri on September 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Henry and Blanche (Batson) Parks.
She married John Schreiber in Flint, Michigan on May 5, 1951.
Sharon was a member of Faith Missionary Church for 66 years and she enjoyed working in the nursery at the church.
She enjoyed line dancing, playing UNO and Skip-BO and going to the YMCA for water aerobics and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Sharon sold real estate for over 30 years.
Surviving are her son, John and wife Maryann Schreiber; daughter Lori and husband Randy Yount; grandchildren, Jason and wife Bridget Schreiber, Jeff Schreiber, Derrick Yount; great grandchildren, Jayden, Jamison, Owen, Silas, Presley and Caleb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, grandson, JJ, brothers, Nathan and Henry, sister, Janet, daughter-in-law Debra.
