Private service will be held at Great Lakes Cemetery.
George was born in Flint Michigan, on September 24, 1930, the son of the late William and Augusta Piggott.
George married his wife Judith on June 24, 1968.
Surviving are son Matthew (Judy) MacQuisten; daughter Marla (James) Gatz; grandsons Alex Gatz and Andrew Gatz; grand-daughter Laci MacQuisten; brother Gary (Gail) Piggott; nieces Jody Piggott; Becky King.
George served in the Korean War, worked and retired from the Flint Truck and Bus Plant. George was also a member of the South Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judith; father William and mother Augusta.
