Parker, Kathy A. – of Clio, age 76, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Henry Ford Providence Hospital in Southfield. Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Friday July 25, 2025 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. The family will receive visitors on Friday at the funeral home from 12PM until the time of service at 2PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.
Kathy was born April 29, 1949, in Flint, Michigan to the late Burton and Ernestine (Glashaw) Starkings. She graduated from Kersley High School with the 1967 class. Kathy married the love of her life, James Parker, on February 11, 1971, with whom she shared many beautiful years. Kathy found her greatest joy in being a homemaker and lovingly caring for her three children. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family; she took immense pride in creating a warm and inviting home filled with delicious meals, a lovely yard, and colorful blooms. The highlight of her life was her granddaughters, who she adored with all her heart, delighting in every moment spent with them.
Surviving are: Children: Melissa (Daryll) Bradburn, Michael Parker and Mandy Parker (Chris Bierlein); Granddaughters: Kylee Bradburn, Kaylee Parker, Marissa Bierlein; Brother, Jeffery (Dawn) Starkings. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Cranberry Park for all the care and compassion given to Kathy. She is preceded in passing by her husband, James Parker, Sister, Penny Shephard.
