TUCKER, Sue Ann of Durand, Age 70, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 with her family by her side. Cremation has taken place. Family will host visitation on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Allen Funeral Home 9136 Davison Rd, Davison, Michigan 48423.
Sue was born in Davison, Michigan, the youngest child of Harold and Marion Langley. She was married to James Tucker for 39 years and raised four children in Durand. Sue was co-owner of many businesses throughout her life and most recently retired as owner of Tucker Chrysler, Inc. in 2016.
Sue was an amazing woman who preferred not to have attention on herself. She was beautiful, strong, smart, thoughtful, fun and extremely generous. Her door was open to all of her children’s friends and she treated them all with love and respect. Her house was perfectly decorated for the holidays and she hosted the best holiday dinners.
Sue loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. She had special relationships with each of her children and there was not a day that went by she did not speak with each of them. She made many great memories for her grandchildren. She sat front row for their performances, enjoyed weekends up north with them and put on fun Easter egg hunts. Sue was always thinking of others, whether it was giving the perfect gift for a special occasion or making a delicious meal for someone. We are at a loss for words to explain how special she was to so many people. Sue will be greatly missed by all.
Sue was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Leigh Tucker, her parents and siblings. She is survived by her children, Jamie Tucker-Fett of Owosso, Katie (Jeremy) Weidner of Alto and Justus Tucker of Linden. Grandchildren Lauren, Maris, Ava, Haydn, Garrett, Gwendolyn and Colin, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
