RITENBURGH, Donna Jean (Brown) – of Davison, formerly of Clio, age 86, passed away January 15, 2018. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Robert D. Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Donna was born in Morristown, MI on March 14, 1931, daughter of the late Harvey and Maude VanAtta. She married Arnold Ritenburgh on January 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2008. Donna worked at Ternstedt, Bronners and JC Penney. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, making crafts and was a 4-H leader and scout leader. Donna loved spending her winters in Yuma where she spent time participating in various clubhouse activities with all her dear friends.
Donna is survived by her children, Eva (Joe) Pyles, Kay (Jon) Conroy, Patty (Bob) Vanaman; grandchildren, (Amy), Miranda (Kevin), Jason (Kelly), Jared (Ashley), Jamie (Jason), Ashley and Amanda; great grandchildren, Alayna, Elizabeth, Emerson, Payton, Owen, Sidney, Tyler and James; brother-in-law, Vernon (Ilene) Ritenburgh; sisters-in-law, Norma (Glenn) Cotton and Margaret Ritenburgh; very close friends, Judy, Barb and Susan. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Zachariah and her siblings.
