VUKOVICH, Barbara J. – of Davison, MI, age 81, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. The family will receive visitors 2-8 PM Monday, February 12, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison and 10-11 AM Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament, 29575 Middlebelt Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334.
Barbara was born in Flint, MI on July 7, 1936, daughter of the late George and Mary (Zaccirey) Rashead. She married James Vukovich on June 22, 1957. Barbara graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1954. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Barbara loved to travel, which included trips touring lighthouses. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. Barbara worked for the Flint Public Schools as a Secretary and Chief Clerk.
Barbara is survived by husband, James; 3 children, Ellen (Jim) Klobuchar, Arlene (Stephen) Hildensperger, and Jane Vukovich; grandchildren, James (Sarah) Klobuchar, Lauryn (Jason) Lotz, Anna Klobuchar, Russell Hildensperger, and Grace Hildensperger; brother, Philip Rashead. She was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Rashead
