Jeffery Allan Hitsman, of Saginaw, age 60 died Saturday October 2, 2021 surrounded by family at Covenant Medical Center. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 7, 2021 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Jeffery was born September 10, 1961 in Flint, Michigan. He was the son of Jim and Carol (Kibby) Hitsman. He attended Millington High School and served in the United States Army for 3 years. He married Lisa Newbold on May 24, 2019 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a builder/pipefitter at KUKA in Bridgeport, Michigan. He was a very caring man who enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking on the grill, cheering on the Hitsman Racing team, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Hitsman; Children: Deanna (Mike) Yats, Jeffery (Gina) Hitsman Jr., Anthony (Kalie) Carlton, and Zachary (Liz) Newbold; Grandchildren: Corey and Cameron Carlton, Sadie Yats, Lilah and Korbin Hitsman; Father: Jim Hitsman; 4 sisters: Susie Hitsman, Debbie Jewell, Kathy (Mark) Ross, and Kim (Jim) Hoffman; 4 brothers: Rick Hitsman, Steve (Tina) Hitsman, Jason (Melinda) Hitsman and Mike Schnettler; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; Fur babies: Blu and Chloe.
