DANKO, GINA MARIE – of Burton, Michigan, age 57, departed this life on January 22, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gina - she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love.
Gina was born on March 12, 1968, in Flint, Michigan the beloved daughter of Sandra Morgan and Robert “Cas” Casciano. She grew up in Davison, Michigan where she attended Davison High School and formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories.
Gina was the devoted partner of Alan Davis for 18 years. Her family and friends were the center of her world. She was especially proud and devoted to her nephew, Brian Morgan.
Throughout her life, Gina was known for her extreme generosity and compassion for others. She enjoyed crafting, cooking and following her favorite sport, basketball. She was especially fond of Steph Curry with the Golden State Warriors.
Gina will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her ability to light up any room, and her deep commitment to making the world a better place. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Gina is survived by her loving partner, Alan Davis; siblings: Matt Casciano, Ellen Morgan, Amanda Morgan, and Tommy Morgan; nephew, Brian Morgan; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Morgan; step-father, Robert “Cas” Casciano; her first husband, John Danko, and her daughter, Maisie Danko.
Gina’s warmth and spirit will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace.
