Londrigan, Susan, of Flint, age 72, died Thursday, February 13, 2020, after a battle with cancer. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Anthony Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Robert Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of the Mass. A scripture service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Sue was born on December 30, 1947, the daughter of Wilbur and Helen (Kotila) Rhoades. She grew up on her family’s farm in Grand Blanc, Michigan and married Clare Londrigan on July 11, 1970. Sue spent over 20 years teaching at St. Robert Catholic School where she created a computer curriculum which grew from a tiny storage room into an innovative computer lab by the time she retired. Sue spent countless hours sewing, crafting, and supporting her children and grandchildren’s activities. She volunteered with the St. Robert Prayer Blanket Ministry, the McLaren Hospital Auxiliary sewing comfort items for patients, and unhesitatingly cared for elderly friends and family.
Sue will be forever loved and missed by her many friends and family and most especially by husband Clare; sons, Greg and daughter-in-law Aimee, Ryan and daughter-in-law Julie, Rob and daughter-in-law Ute; grandchildren, Lillian, Livia, Ian, Emilia, James, and Henry. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Robert School or the Flushing Christian Outreach Center.
