Leland Stanford Goldner
Age 91 of Flushing passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Chesaning Comfort Care.
Per Leland's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
Leland was born on July 15, 1928 to Roy and Delia (Byron) Goldner in Lansing. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, and he served in the Navy Flight program. After earning his Bachelor's degree, Leland worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for many years.
Leland married the love of his life, Maurine R. Jones on December 15, 1982; they celebrated 36 years of marriage last year. During his life, he was a train, antique, and sports enthusiast. He loved his dogs, going to sporting games, and spending time at his second home in Pentwater. Leland was a talented craftsman and he built his own home. He also served as a Flushing Police Officer for many years. Leland was the life of every party he went to. Above all, he loved his family and friends dearly.
Leland is survived by his wife, Maurine Goldner; his son, Brian (Susan) Goldner; his step-children, Linda (Ed) Petzold, Bryan (Deborah) Taylor, and Randy Taylor; his daughter-in-law, Donna Schmidt; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Katie; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by parents; his step-son, Bruce; his brother, Levane Goldner; and his sister, Marilyn (Pat) Morey.
