DUBIE, Kathleen M.- Of Linden, age 74, died December 21, 2025, at home surrounded by her family with love.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on December 27th at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 7296 Gale Rd, Grand Blanc, Father Bob McGraw, and Deacon Ken Priess concelebrating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery Chapel following.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Catholic Charity Center for Hope.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday, December 26th at the Swartz Funeral Home, on Hill Rd in Flint, a Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. with Deacon Omar. Mrs. Dubie will be at the church at 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the Mass.
Kathleen was born in Flint on March 23, 1951, daughter of Duane Withey and the late Jaqueline (Wangler)Withey.
On Friday, February 13, 1976, she married Charles Lawrence Dubie.
She was a dedicated administrator within the local school districts for over 35 years. Kathleen attended and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Her life's mission was to help others, a fierce believer in second chances serving as a dedicated mentor and source of strength within her family and to the recovery community. Kathleen loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Kathleen is survived by her husband Charles, 3 children, Theresa Hazen, Carrie her husband Tracy Lowe, and Eric Dubie. 2 grandchildren Kristin and Kody. 4 beloved Great Grandchildren Mason, Sloan, Chase, and Ila. Father Duane Withey. 2 Sisters, Yvonne Gainey husband Joseph, Julie Church husband Timothy, 1 brother Mark Withey his wife Jane. 5 nieces, 1 nephew, 1 great nephew, and 2 great nieces. As well as many loved cousins and special friends.
Proceeded in death by her Mother Jaqueline (Wangler) Withey, her Grandbaby Lowe, her Grandparents Albert and Veronica (Brindley) Wangler, Charles and Florence (Moats-Brown-Bennett) Withey.
