Patton, James H. "Jim" - Age 86, of Flint, passed from this world to eternal life with his Loving Savior on December 6, 2020. Private family funeral services will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. A live stream of the funeral will be available at 2 PM Friday, December 11 at Jim's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Public visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, and 11 AM - 1 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to APSCA. Jim was born October 23, 1934 in Alcoa, TN, the son of Tom and Nellie (Riddle) Patton. Jim was a businessman in Flint and Genesee County for many years. He owned and operated Jims Transmission which he started in 1954, and Complete Auto and Truck Parts / Towing which he started in 1985 to current. Dad loved to work! He was a pilot. He enjoyed golf and the warm Florida sunshine and sandy beaches. He loved walking his dogs twice daily. Surviving are: his four children, Deb Patton Robb, Jan Patton, Kenneth (Claudia) Brock, Doug Patton; special nephew, Bob Woodyard; grandchildren, Alexa Robb, Steven Robb, Kristen Schumacher, Lindsey Trotter, Charley Rose Patton, and Chandler Patton; great-grandchildren Kaden and Tori Schumacher; his dogs Nellie and Sissy; and special caregivers Heidi and Jim; and many nieces and nephews.
